Excused Mental Health Days

Students across the Commonwealth have worked with State Legislators to co-write Senate Bill 886 and House Bill 1519. These bills aim to grant students the opportunity to take Mental Health days without needing a doctor's note. This shift not only tackles mental health stigma but also empowers young people to have a say in

their mental well-being.

On November 15, 2023, teens from across Pennsylvania visited the State Capital in Harrisburg to meet with Legislators and hold a press conference in support of the bills.

Explore the different bills and sign on to support the legislation.
